Depending upon the age of the student requesting admission, a variety of methods are used to assess compatibility of the student and family with the learning community. Interviews, visitation, and individualized informal assessments are utilized. Parental goals must be compatible with the Country Day School philosophy and methods. Students with learning problems are sometimes admitted but must agree upon obtaining resource services while at the Country Day School. Transcripts from previous schools are requested and considered.

Please call for availability in all programs. Openings often become available during the school term. Registration for the 2008-2009 school year is now open. Children of all races, religions, and nationalities are welcome.

 Admissions Policies

     ·        We accept and admit students throughout the year.

·        Students enrolling in Preschool must be 2 ½.

·        When a student transfers from another school, class placement depends on the academic, developmental, and social progress of the child.

·        Our school is designed to meet the needs of children with an average range of developmental abilities. We are not able to meet extreme special needs.

·        We seek to develop a culturally-and economically-diverse student body and we welcome students of any race, color, religion, and national or ethnic origin.

                     Notice of Nondiscriminatory policy
The Country Day School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
